Software developer (Cognos BI)

Iflowsoft Solutions Inc is having a Software developer (Cognos BI) opportunity for the candidates with following qualifications.

  • Technical design, development and support related to Cognos BI solutions
  • Architect, design, Develop, deploy Bi application.
  • User requirement analysis, Proof of concept, preparing and modeling reporting and BI framework
  • Design, architect Cognos report Framework, Model Analysis, Design, Testing, documenting and maintaining versions using VSS Tool
  • Architecting Solutions for Project and defining approach and ensuring the delivery with Quality, BI Dashboard, Metadata and Report Solutions, design dashboards, Cubes, Migration, database programming, schema design
  • Write Unix/Linux and shell scripts
  • Code promotion, version control, and QA procedures.
  • Perform Unit testing and fix bugs reported by QE and UAT users.
  • Support post production bugs reported by business users. Develop and maintain functional automation tests cases (end to end) in the project.
  • Any other identified tasks required by project.
  • Raising defects in the application to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain build and deploy process.

Cognos, Impromptu, oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, Cognos framework

Educational Requirement:

Educational prerequisite for Software developer position is a Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related field of study with 2 plus years of relevant experience in above mentioned technologies. Must have experience with detailed working knowledge of a System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and industry best practices.
